I'm considering buying a new integrated amp whose input impedance is only 1.2kOhms. My DAC's output impedance is 2.3kOhms-5.8kOhms. Is using this DAC with this amp going to result in weak bass?
That low a load could cause various problems. What amplifier is this?
The DAC output impedance is also unusually high, is it a tube circuit?
This may not be a suitable match.

Then it would depend on the DAC, whether it can drive 1k without distortion, and if it has
a large enough output coupling capacitor to not lose bass. It would need to have at least 10uF
to roll off at 20Hz into a 1k load, but preferably more than that. Which DAC is it?

Yes please identify the hardware for us... Its hard to know what you are talking about if you don't know what you are talking about.
