Free (ugly) speaker enclosure, Seattle pickup

I bought a pair of DIY speakers on Craigslist because I needed the drivers. I'm left with a couple of big (8 x 15 1/2 x 44") heavy boxes (3/4" MDF) and the crossovers (3 way) that I don't need. Replace the baffle and can be used as the base for a project.

Free, local pickup in Seattle (Queen Anne)

Nice fat film caps and air core inductors in there!
Yes, the crossover is mounted to a thin fiberboard support, screwed to the bottom of the enclosure. In order to remove the components you'd need to either desolder each component thru the existing holes, or cut thru the enclosure to get the supporting board out.

I'm hoping that someone is interested in the boxes as well. If nobody is interested in the boxes, I will get the tools out of storage and reduce the boxes to smaller chunks I can dispose of easily (legally! 🙂), and keep the crossover components for some future project. I hate, though, throwing away stuff that other people might want to reuse, hence this post looking for a new owner before destroying the boxes
