Hi guys I have a massive p3000.1 I had 5 shorted output fets. I have replaced all the output fets and the amp will play audio for about 5 min then it will start making loud pops and screeches and go into protect. I noticed after 5 minutes that the output inductor on board 1 is like 205f and board2 is at 105f. I swapped the inductors from board to board and board 1 still gets really hot. What should I check from here?
Have you compared the voltage on the pins of the two driver boards to see if they're essentially the same?
I'm not sure what you're referring to as the PS driver board.

I think I am confused when you say driver board are you referring to the amp with the power connections?
Driver boards are typically small boards that connect into the main boards (the ones with the transformer, FETs...). This amp doesn't use a PS driver board. All PS components are on the main board.
The two large boards may be considered master and slave in some amps. This generally means that the master has some sort of influence on the slave. That's not really the case here. I'd like refer to them by stating which one has the RCA jacks and which one has the power terminals.

The two metal cans are driver boards (may be considered audio PWM boards).
If there is a problem with one of them, you may need to remove the cover. It will never go back on to look the same.
How do the output signals compare between the two driver boards?

Were the drive signals different between the two boards?
Removing the potting compound (black plastic?) off can be difficult and should only be done as a last resort.
The compounds differ. Some are like tar. Others are an epoxy.
