high voltage tubes with 12V or 5V heater
Hi,
I'm working on a project with high voltage tubes like the 6HS5 family - min. 5000V max Va, > 20W Pa, >100mA Ia. The 6HS5 fits the bill but to design constraints I would want such a tube with 12V (12.6V) or 5V heater instead of 6.3V.
Anyone knows of such an animal?

That tube you quote is a highly specialised CRT TV 1960,s tube ( 12 pin ), you are confined to high power transmitters -laboratory 1950/1960,s high voltage power supplies-- US military specialised types .
UK televisions had the PD500 but Ia is a mile away from what you want.
Check out earlier US transmitter tubes.

Thanks, I will look into transmitter tubes, but so far I haven't found anything in 12V in the range i need.
