PreAmp/Amp Choice

Hello, Somehwat of a newbie question in the area of tube amp.

I am currently building a Tube4Hifi PH16 tube phono stage and already have a Micro Seki BL91 for turntable (MM Cart) and A Mesa Boogie Tigris Power Amp.

What would be a good choise to put between the stage PH16 and Tigris for as a preamp ?

Open to kit, vintage or modern.

Thanks in advance

Pascal

Are you sure you need a line stage?

According to the measurements done on that amp in Stereophile (Mesa Tigris integrated amplifier Measurements | Stereophile.com), the amp has at least 34dB gain, which is a lot. It also has multiple inputs and a volume control on it. You should be able to connect the output of the phono stage straight to the input of that amplifier, and get sufficient volume.
