Crossovers for Emerald Physic EP4.4

Has anyone made crossovers for the 4 series EP’s

I have a pair and no crossover. Trying to make a passive crossovers w as little fuss as possible. All I know is what I’ve found online. Third order w points at 250hz and 1k hz

Someone sent me a photo but I can’t read the capacitor values. It’s
Pretty simple though. 3 metal oxide resistors. 4 wire wounds. 5 solen caps.

Open baffle
12" coax with compression driver
15" woofer

If I understand correctly, these open baffle speakers heavily rely on equalization by DSP to shape the frequency response. The passive crossover seems to be used to lessen the demand on amplifier channel count. I see two possibilities:

1) Obtain the values of the original crossover parts and the original equalization settings.

2) Even though it is beneficial to properly design the passive crossover, I think you can get away with putting in an off-the-shelf 1 kHz crossover, as long as you measure the frequency response afterwards and use this information to dial in the DSP. Can you perform frequency response measurements or are you willing to invest some $$ and learn it?

I’d happily put in the time but the cash might be a problem. I thought the most absolute answer might be buying a used deqx and a six channel amp but you’re running $1500+ to do that. I don’t have the cash for that at the moment.

Or a passive crossover and a mini dsp and stereo amp (that I have).

My understanding was similar to yours. Full digital eq and crossover plus pro amp.

Or. Passive crossover. Minidsp. Two channel amp.
