SV572-10 & SV811-10 tubes for sale

I have two pair of Svetlana tubes for sale. One pair of SV572-10 tubes and one pair of SV811-10 tubes. Both pair are new and have never been used. I've checked them for filament continuity and for shorts between the filaments and the plates and grids. Tubes are all good. They are listed on eBay and the starting bids for each pair are $99.95.

I decided to sell these because I have no interest in messing with high voltage transmitting tubes.

The tubes look the same. Curious, I don't see ANY gettering plated on the inside of the tubes.

I had some other questions about these tubes concerning metal pins in the side of the ceramic base, the date codes on the tubes, and whether there are any test stickers on the tubes.

The SV811-10 tubes do have metal pins on the sides of the bases; the SV572-10 tubes do not. The date codes on the SV811-10 tubes are 9505 and 9506; the date codes on the SV572-10 tubes are both 9603. There are no test stickers on the SV811-10 tubes while the SV571-10 tubes have stickers reading 66 and 64 respectively.

It’s normal not to have silvering on the glass, the getters are those torus shaped pieces on the anode. I just checked my copy and there are two different one’s, placed on opposite sides of the anodes which explains your photos.

I’m interested in the SV572, are you selling them here or on eBay as I didn’t see a link provided ?

I am selling these on eBay.

Your question about the getters and the lack of any visible gettering made me wonder, so I looked up pictures of other tubes of the same type for sale. None show any gettering but I did see a picture of one of these tubes being tested on a TV-7. This sent me to the data sheet for the tubes.

According to the data sheet, "Excellent gettering enhanced by titanium bonded with the graphite anode surface. Titanium has an index of gas absorption 10 times greater than barium.

These tubes also have the same pinout as a 6A3. I tried testing them as such on a TV-10 tube tester but with the bias set at 30. Both SV572-10 tubes tested at 2000. One SV811-10 tested at 1800, the second at 1900.

Hope this info helps.
