hi all- im trying to identify the wire/s that need to be changed in order to use one at 240v in uk
Take the bottom off and have a look at the wiring around the AC cord, fuse and switch area. Take a picture of it.
If it doesn't have dual primaries you might need to replace the power transformer with one that has a 240 volt primary.

many American amps that landed in Manila had two 110volt ac primaries, so then it was just a matter of series connecting them...
just bought and converted an sca80 Q to 240. plenty of info on how to do this in my case was just a matter of rearranging identified wires on the terminal strips so they are in parallel instead of series.all info u need should be in here http://www.thehistoryofrecording.com/Manuals/DynaCo/Dynakit_SCA_35.pdf
