I picked these cool Duntech PCL3 on-wall speakers up and one woofer is scratching pretty bad.. In my novice terms, the voice coil is rubbing. These are very old woofers and not made any more. Any thoughts on a worthy replacement?
I think the woofer is the Audax HD17B25J 2CP12
There's another number on the back CN103TN.

WOW! I remember those in the hi-end store I bought my Acoustats from. They were well regarded back in the day and were quite novel. I'm sorry I don't have the info you are looking for but it just triggered me.
These are really cool speakers! The one that works sounds fantastic. I can't wait to get them both in working order.
Duntech stopped making these a couple of decades ago and Audax stopped suppling small manufacturers nearly two decades ago. I think your most likely chance of finding a replacement driver would be from a donor system.
However the driver can be disassembled, the gap cleaned and voice coil replaced if necessary and then reassembled. It may only need to have the surround lifted, repositioned and re-glued.

You're probably right, I'm just not exactly capable of doing that without destroying it. I can't figure out how to get the magnet off as there are no visible screws. The dustcap seems very well glued on too. I might see if Bill Legall from Millersound would touch these but they might not be worth his time.
There is no way to remove the magnets; the drivers will come apart by dissolving the glue of the spider and surround, unsoldering the lead in wires, and lifting the cone assembly out.
If you can stop the rubbing by gently pressing the cone with a finger in a sideways direction at some point around its circumference, the chances are you only need to lift the surround and re-glue it.
Use a small artist's brush to apply glue solvent at the edge of the surround. Give it a few minutes to work an then gently lift the surround off the speaker frame (remove the cardboard gaskets first).
Then apply some new acrylic glue to the surround and as it dries position the surround to give even clearance all around using the same test as above. Glue the gaskets back on when you're happy with the surround position, although they serve no purpose other than appearance.
