New Sonus Faber tweeters

Brand new pair of Sonus Faber tweeters. I think these were from the Nova V's? not sure. they are 100% functional BUT, deemed defective because the little point doesn't touch the tweeter dome. I think this is some kind of anti-resonance thing. not sure. but. in any case, they were replaced due to this reason. perfect for a DIY project!!!

$80 for the pair plus shipping

It is clearly seen that the dome does not touch the upper gadget ........ but it intrigues me if this distance is since they were new or if it was produced after a lot of use ...😕
I guess the latter, right ? 🙂
Perhaps a small foam pad will act as an anti-resonator .....:scratch2:

I would not hesitate to buy them in any way, good price!

I do not understand the concept of the constructor then, I can understand that the upper part of the dome touches with some damping surface in a minimal way, to eliminate resonance, but if since new they had that gap, then it is nothing more than an assumption.

I have not found information on the web about the description that appears in the photograph, I suppose that those tweeters have been extracted from a Sonus Faber commercial cabinet, can you tell us what it is?
