Reading the manual only the main speakers can be manually balanced so I take it the balance control knob does not function nor the other way using a test tone ?
So far I have not found a reset method but you can go into -Set-Menu mode and start from scratch again as your receiver is processor controlled .
I think that's page 29 onward,s in the manual.
Page 32 onward shows how to use the tone method balance.
Maybe somebody here owns one and can supply more information ?
There is a type of "reset " but it applies to the remote and will not change the already programmed in features--page 69.
Page 71 says take out the battery from the remote for several hours and that could erase the "learned functions " ( additional functions ) . there is a "memory guard " function on page 82 -try turning it off.
