I have an Apple TV 4 connected to my Sony amplifier. The Sony has no mic jack or other outputs. Is there a way to get a way to have an access to the output other than converting the stereo speaker outputs via a converter to audio out standards?
Any suggestions are appreciations.

The only external method I can think of is using the Tape Out jacks, if your amp is equipped for that. It's a fixed-level signal so you need a volume control separate from the amp's front panel control.
Unfortunately there is no output(s) what so ever - I assume this is part of the HDMI/copyright regulations.

HDMI audio extractor – put between atv and amp, and any spdif input headphone amp.
Small box, with toslink (and coax) digital audio output. Kind of hijacking audio from atv, with keeping hdmi connection to amp.

How about the monitor or TV? Even computer monitors with HDMI inputs usually have an audio jack, sometimes an optical output. I found that I have to use a passive attenuator with my Samsung monitor because the output level is too high (and neither the monitor nor my media player have volume control).
