I designed this to replace my dead 2a3 SET amp. @6w into 4/8 ohm load. FFT is 1v into 7 ohm load using a 16bit Pico Scope. Speakers shown are 97db & 8 ohms. Exicon Lateral Mosfets.

Sounds similar to my 2a3 SET. The 2nd order profile is enjoyable to me. Not a power house but more than enough for the 6.5’’ Alnico Drivers.

To be honest.. 6w into 8/4 ohms is a pipe dream ! I realized a couple days ago I did the math wrong. So the new goal is 2w into 4 ohms and 4w into 8 ohms (+/-8v @ 1a). Each mosfet will be responsible for 8 watts. So I have estimated ~5c/w for the heat sinks which will give me ~65c. I am using these heat sinks from ohmite -
