Marantz cd 63 tray stuck

I just bought a marantz cd 63, but when the tray is empty, it is not possible to eject the tray, any idea on what causes this and how to fix it? Please check the video

Probably a belt needs to be replaced and some greasing of the drawer/transport.

Check tray position switches / sensors also.
Seems a mechanical problem.
Check if the upper clamp magnet is not interfering with the tray movement.

On most CDs there is a small hole below the tray. Straighten out a paper clip and insert it in the hole to activate the tray release.

I've only ever seen this on computer cd/dvd drives.

Never seen it on commercial audio players...

Some have it ! It is indeed "under" the tray. So it is not obvious.
