Yes, it is one of those improbable situations that hardly anyone would ever bet on. Namely, there is a special x/o network making sure this kind of frequency response is achieved. The measurement of post #1 represents drivers wired correctly, in phase, and polarity reversal makes it worse. And the thing is the same with the other loudspeaker.
