Hi, I have traced my full range speaker and I simulated the baffle step diffraction using Loudspeaker Design Software . I want to blend it using FRD Blender and Minimum Phase Extractor . The problem is that I only have Excel 2011 and everytime I load the spreadsheet, I always got an error message and can't find the upload frd button.
Can anyone help me blend this file? The file for the woofer will be named woofer.frd and the file that I got from simulating using Loudspeaker Design Software will be named Baffle step diffraction set as loss.frd and Baffle step diffraction set as gain.frd

That would be me. I wrote the FRD blender minphase extraction code, and I built the spreadsheet so that there is no need (at all) to use any buttons to perform the phase extraction. The buttons and other controls were all inserted by Jeff Bagby, when we started working together on the project (he LOVED spinners and buttons).
The FRD data is just text. To import FRD data into a sheet, open the file in a text editor, select all (control-A), and then paste the data into cell A1 of the sheet.
There is a way to run the Blender without using the buttons. Check the instructions. If you can't figure it out, post here and I will lead you through it.
I am pretty sure (but not 100%) that Excel 2011 has all the functionality you need as long as you do not use any button/spinner controls.

I'm using the FRD response blender 2.0 with Excel 2003, so it should definitely work with Excel 2011. The buttons all work fine. Have you enabled macros?
I think it depends on which version you are using. Microsoft decided to make some changes to the button code or implementation, which broke the controls in the FRD blender at one point. Jeff had to re-write a bunch of the VBA code to get them working again. The current version is 2.0 but that will probably not work properly with earlier versions of Excel.
Yes, I have enabled the macros but it still tells me that something is missing in the code. I'll try the copy method.
I run Excel 2000 and as soon as I hit import frd file, visual basic reports compile error, so I manually copy/paste the data with Notepad ++ . Otherwise, blender works well.
