Any method to take these soft foam structures and harden them for use are true sound diffusers.
Wooden diffusers are very expensive and heavy and difficult for quick diy.
Just looking for a reasonable alternative using the above product.

There are some simple diy diffusors you should be able to build for much less than that.
I can’t find the thread i wanted, but if you search titles for diffuser/disfusor you can get a start.

Strange, the link I followed show them available and about $2.33US a square foot. That's a good price. But I have not idea how you change them from absorber to diffuser.$14 per ft2. Unavailable.
