JL Audio 500/1 10ohm R608 burning up?

I have a JL Audio 500/1 that keeps burning up R608 a large 10ohm resistor. So I sub it with a large resistor and it heats up very quickly.

Are the PS driver transistors shorted?

If both the NPN and PNP drivers are shorted in one emitter follower pair, that could be the path for the current that's burning the resistor.

It's entirely possible I installed them. Backwards. I looked up the drivers that were installed and installed the new one based on that.

Which transistors go to the locations. Seems like what i am installing is not going well?

What parts are you using (original part numbers)?

The PNP drivers go in the locations that have the collector grounded.

Ill be using the 2sb1123 and 2sd1623 transistor replacements.

The 2SB will go in the location where the collector is grounded.

Correct. I ran them pnp-npn-pnp-npn,
But the order is quite different. npn-pnp-pnp-npn, The 10R is no longer burning up.

OK so drive was repaired and present. When I installed four of the IRF3205. The amifiers draws current like 10amps and then restarts over and over.

Is there a delay between applying remote and the current draw?

Are you supplying it with no current limiter?

Pull the rectifier and test it, I’ve had a few short out on me.
