Is anyone familiar with Nokia drivers?

Hello good friends,

A friend gave me those two nokia 8inch midbass drivers. They are made in Germany and to be honest they sound good, free air with no crossover attached.
Does anyone have any info on those drivers? Are they supposed to be good? Worth giving a try?

Hello,

this drivers are excellent. Maid by Nokia in Straubing/Germany around 1990 I suppose. Cone from Dr. Kurt Müller.

Nokia was them buyed by Harman and last year they closed in Straubing and moved development to Hungary.

Here is the naming convention used on these.

Looks like these were used in the Elipson 6175 and 6275 models. Details on next page. Hope this helps.

Yes, these appear to be excellent drivers according to the Elipson data and are definitely worth trying.

I don't know exactly but I think you can start by copying the box dimensions for those models etc. Looking at their flat responses, I feel their networks definitely have some EQ built in.
