Just found some in an old box. Looks brand new. Two gauges apparently. Would you recommend it for internal speaker wiring?
You mean inside the speaker box wiring? I wouldn't use flat cable for that because it's not very flexible in the "wide" direction so can put stress on the speaker terminals.
this?
i wouldnt use it anywhere. really high capacitance. a few meters of thoes can break some amplifiers.

Less robust and tube designs, absolutely.this?

I believe the Goertz cable uses flat, thin and wide foil conductors.
The foil nature of the cable may not lend itself to making easy internal connections.

For big woofers, I use 14 AWG THHN wire. For small woofers I use 16 or 18 gage fine strand wire (parts express speaker wire). For tweeters I use 18 or 20 gage fine strand wire.
Years ago I wanted to hear a difference in speaker cables... I tried, but I just could never hear anything different between ordinary wire and the special cable I borrowed from friends.
