300B Tubes--What do you recommend?

So I started with Gold Lions and had to go with Electro Harmonix due to early replacement cost. One of the GLs was red plating.

The EHs sound pretty darn good. I'd like to look at others, but I have to say $1500 for a pair of tubes is rich--especially if they fail after only 1000 hours of listening.

What do folks like south of $1k?

Acme 300b are pretty incredible in my limited experience with 300b tubes.

300BXLS tubes have a higher filament draw 1.5amp vs 1.2 of the aforementioned tubes

Maybe these 300Bs

I just rebuilt a friends interstage coupled amp and he sent me a pair of these tubes. It's been a while since I've used 300Bs but I am very impressed with these tubes and for the money can't be beat IMHO.

Tried the EH Gold and TJ Meshplates. Both have about 200hrs use.

Can't really point to a difference but the EH are hooked up now and they sound damn good (Tubelab TSE-II). Can't recall a comparison to the TJs.
