Will I ever get any bass out of these?

A 500 liter bass reflex box with a 800 cm2 cross section area and 30 cm long port gives this response according to Hornresp.

This ultralight cone and high Qts will present an almost unique possibility to have a port large enough to avoid port compression within the driver xmax and power rating.

If you can build yourself an amplifier with minus two Ohm output impedance then you could probably lower the distortion substantially and get a better simulated response curve.

If I had that much free space I'd rent it out.

That gave me a good laugh!

But as Chris says a 15" has a lot of surface area. The drivers might only have 2.7mm of one way xmax but pop them into a 100 litre cabinet with some power & EQ and you'll get a decent amount of bass.

It's swept volume is 220cm^3.

Current model RS225s have a volume displacement of 149cm^3.

RS225s are one of the 'go to' 8" drivers for the bottom of a three way without spending large amounts of money. They aren't subs, but what they do, they do very well. The less used, but no less competent, bigger brother of the RS225 is the RS270 10". These have a swept volume of 228cm^3, almost identical to the 15" Eminence. If the RS225 can do bass decently then the RS270 absolutely can. EQ them up and you should be fine.

What cabinet are they currently in?

Hi Surtsey. Have you got rid of the drivers or can I have 'em? I am idealy after one ME15-2008, for Bass guitar playing rig for gig stuff. TA
I use those for playing the bass. I actually use the anp you have on your picture too.
I do believe my cabinets aren’t quite right for the drivers. What does your look like?
