Anyone have a good part number for the 5k pot that controls the gain in this amp ?

Do you happen to know the value of the pot ?

I have 2 amps here both 1500bd’s

I amp has a 5k pot the other amp the pot is marked C500k ohm x2

Both amps have been worked on before

As far as I know, they use 5k pots for the gain. The attached is from a similar amp.

All the new ones I stock are 20K for newer amps. The factory looking black ones are "insulated" hence the black coating on the knob. The only ones I've ever found like that are over seas.

I have used: 652-PTD902-2015KA502

In stock at Mouser but have a bare shaft with no black finish and no white dot.

They work fine aside that.

Like Perry said they should be 5k pots.
