Peavey FH1. Does the horn get smaller through the corner ?

I've been drawing up the FH1 bin from cobbled together plans off the web. The dimensions I'm using suggest the horn gets 'pinched' in the 90 degree bend.

Is it like this in the original or are the measurements I'm using wrong ?

With the layout you posted, the 2.75" is reduced to 2.5" in the center of the corner.

The actual FH-1 cabinet width is supposed to be 30 5/8" (30.625") but the layout reduced that dimension to just 30 1/4" (30.25").

When the missing 3/8" is added back to the width, the "pinch" opens to very close to 2.75". I'd put a 3/8" round on the corner to smooth it out just a bit more, and reduce diffraction.

I have the pdf for the originals but stupidly assumed the overall width included corner protectors / handle protusions etc 😱

What you've said makes perfect sense, I'll adjust my drawings.
