Hi All,
I have a Cyrus 2 (rev 7), I'm looking for a good quality power supply capacitors to replace the 2 Elna 10,000uF 50V capacitors (there is a small dent on one of them).
I'm not looking for a very expensive replacement, just a good one that can be found in the UK for around 10-15GBP/cap.
Does anyone have any experience with DNM "guided current" capacitors?
Thanks

Cpc farnell is offering nice Vishay 056 psm series long life 10.000uF 63vdc, 10mm lead spacing, for 9.41/piece.
As regards DNM "guided current " capacitors advertised in 2016 which claim to reduce impedance/inductance and resistance so achieving "better " results at high frequencies ( advertised at "11db" reduction) .
I am drawn to a Google (USA ) patent online which in a whole webpage of technical data as well as legal has the same claim of lower inductance/resistance/impedance using the same "four terminal " type capacitors --owned by Matsushita Electric Industry Co., LTD,. Japan .
Effective date -8-2-1999// 19-01-2001 -patent granted - patented case.
Patent No-US6185091B1
