I would like to know what is the designation of these types of cores as seen in the picture (the two square shaped big ones next to the 4 el-lytes) and who manufactures these, does anyone know?

The Asians very often use Sagami (or copies). They exist in different sizes so you need to take the exact measures to know the particular model.
