I shall miss him.
And so shall Liverpool Football Club.
But really, what a life he had!
I expect a huge farewell from the Kop.
You'll Never Walk Alone.
Not a dry eye in the House.

Seems there's no Liverpool supporters on this forum, Steve!
Gerry and the Pacemakers were the first act to reach Number 1 in the British charts with their first three releases: "How Do You Do It?", "I Like It" and "You'll Never Walk Alone" (1963).
This feat was not matched until 21 years later when Frankie Goes To Hollywood took each of their first three singles to the top.
1963? Now that was a good year for British pop! 😎
1963 Number Ones UK
However, I see that Elvis managed to sneak in!
