I recently moved 2 Energy Vertitas 2.4 speakers in a commercial van from MI to CA, now both have no sound output from the woofers. The tweeter on both is working. No external damage to speakers. Could crossovers be affected by excessive heat in van? Any suggestions as to problem and fix? Crossover boards seem to be ok with wiring between but need to be diagnosed.
So strange that both speakers have same problem.

This would be more than a little unusual. Do you have a screwdriver and a multimeter? It’s a start, that’s all I’m saying.
Cool.
Get them opened up and follow the wires with the meter. You should have continuity from input + to woofer +, and same for -. The woofers should read a resistance of a few ohms.
Have a poke around and let us know if you have any questions.

PS - I've moved a lot of speakers in vans (comes with running a live sound business), and never had one break in transport. Any chance the magnets have shifted?
