Well, title says everything. Just started playing with amp design, just a hobby and will never afford stuff like AP.... located in Italy.
Well, I've been looking for a QA401 here to no avail so far. I have a Q400 that I might be willing to part with.
In the end, e-mu 1212m or the likes offer better A/D, but the QAs have custom software that is very easy to work with, so you don't have to bother about ASIO and other software that was not designed with this particular card in mind.

Qa400
You caught my interest, although I am not very knowledgeable on the differences between the 400 and 401. And it also boils down to “how much?”
All my best,
Franco

Franco, the QA400 has single ended input and output and the same codec as the Focusrite Scarlett, AFIR. Also, the software has not been updated in a while. I would have to check if it works with Windows 10. The QA401 as better A/D and D/A, balanced I/O and more current software.
