I have a massive audio p3000.1d that had a doen power supply and 1shorted output in a bank on the power ground terminal board. (board 1) Replace the assosiated driver smd transistors as well Q13,Q11,Q15.
I also replace one bad voltage regulator on (board 2)
I removed and tested all the other output transistors. All are good.
Power supply is healthy.
Now the amp is out of protection, i still have rail on the speaker terminals, im quesssing i must remove the potting material and change the ic within.
Should i attempt this or deam it unrepairable?.

Have you looked at the signals on the optocoupler inputs to see if you have a good signal on both of them?
Check before and after the resistors driving the input to them.

Yes i have no good signals going into the octocouplers. The high side is not forming correctly. When i get back home ill upload what i have.
With no input i moved foward to removing the potting materials from the driver cards, and repairing the drivers just like as done in this design previously.
Is i nessasary to apply some 3m pad and the casing back atop the card, or will they be just fine like on other boards of this type?
