TU-8600s Takman single 330kohm

Hi,
I am assembling the new TU-8600s with Takman upgrade. The resistors came with a single 330 Kohm resistor taped to the front. What is it for?

It is just a sample that shows you how to bend the pins to fit onto the PCB.

Sorry to jump in Victor, but is there an easy way to accomplish the recurve resistor leads you so helpfully demonstrate. I've got a lead forming tool, but I was wondering if there's a special technique to quickly and easily form the leads as required. Thanks.
