I've underestimated my heatsinks size so now I'm looking at mounting a couple DC fans to my heatsinks to prove my theory. I'm looking at mounting the fans to the external vertical fins so my question is..............are there any clips available or mounting hardware designed for just such a purpose?

So two fans per sink? I would do impingement cooling, fans mounted on a flat plate with two circular holes
placed symmetrically from the center line. The plate covers over all the fins, and the fans blow into the fins.
Make sure neither the top or bottom of the fins is obstructed, as the air goes out there.
