Does anyone have a clear picture of the VFET logo that SONY placed to the right of TAN-5550 on the face plate? A copy or jpg of printed material would be ideal. A photo might work if there is no perspective distortion. It's kind of cool and I have an idea for using it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Typically, you'll need to convert the desired image (JPG, PDF etc.) into a DXF file that a laser engraving machine can recognize. Software like Adobe Illustrator (or something similar) is quite often used for this purpose.

Here is a crop from a photo of my TAN-5550. I can try for a better one if this is not good enough.
Any way you have a full-res version of this image?
I will take a macro photo of the logo tomorrow. The logo on the front panel is only about 1 cm wide so I'll do a close-up on tripod.

Got her done tonight.
Perfect, thanks! I’ll compare and refine the final artwork tmrw
There was a very nice Vfet logo done for the upcoming DIY VFET amplifiers.
Maybe Jason will put a copy up here for you.
