Reading how many people here like to keep building and experimenting I think you must end up with plenty of odd drivers that disappointed and ended up not being used. What do you do with them? I'm extremely happy with my newly completed Carmody Tarkus and won't be spending hard to find cash on any more projects. I have the following drivers from previous failures.
2x Monacor DT280 tweets
8x Peerless M10NG 4" mid/bass
2x Celestion TF1020 10" Woofer
Any ideas what to do with them?

MMTMM with the 4" drivers and tweeters. Small, sealed, desktop system.
Maybe give the 10"s some compression drivers to work with - Half Boominator?

I'd do a TMMMM with the 4" and tweeters. A floor stander.
I was going to say use the 10" driver as some sort of sub for the above but they aren't really suitable for that.

So you feel there may be a use for at least some of these drivers together. I'm way out of my depth starting from scratch. My early efforts at just throwing things together were pretty disastrous. I tried a few of the free modelling applications and various conflicting ideas gleaned from various websites. The more questions I asked resulted in more advice to go for an established design. In the end I did just that with the Tarkus.
