this amp came in with blown ps and output fets. I replaced all of the gate resistors and when I was checking the squarewaves for the ps i noticed it doesnt turn off when the remote is disconnected. Anyone else had this problem before?

It has been a while since I had to fix this issue on a JL slash amp, but first double check and clean the switch for the sense, it is normally this. If it is for sure not the sense switch, then follow the remote input in through a diode (KDS193) and then to a diode that would normally be blocking (KDS193), check it and then check the NPN transistor that is connected (to its base) to the anode of that diode (BC846b). That transistor should turn on the LM324M for the Aux supply startup. I found its the diode or transistor, or both before.
Thanks, I was at work when I wrote that, so I hoped it made sense. I should have said the transistor goes to one of the LM324M inputs that then turns on the Aux power supply first before turning on the main. The JL amps that do that take a lot of learning to get how the whole turn on circuit works. And I have the luck (or misfortune) of always getting the amps to fix that someone has blown the hard to track down things. School of hard knocks I guess.
