Need Help Please , BMS4592ND - MID vs BMS4592ND - Coax

- Hello , I could use some help from anyone who has experience with both the BMS4592ND-Midrage and the BMS4592ND-Coax how would you compare the sound, do you give up anything by going with the 4592nd-Coax , does one midrange sound the same as the other? -

As far as I know, the mid and coaxial will have the same midrange diaphragm, phase plug, etc.

The only difference will be that the coaxial one can make it out to the VHF range (by having a tweeter diaphragm) while the midrange-only unit will not.

Thanks Chris , I appreciate the help, have you heard both of the BMS drivers?

- The reason I was asking is that I am only going to be able to buy one or the other. Unfortunately I can only save a couple of hundred a year and they are about a $1,000 a pair so if it's not the right decision I wont be able to change down the road.... 🙂
- The Coax version would be my 1st choice , but Only if it sounds as good as the Midrange version.
- I had the chance to hear the Midrange version - the BMS4592ND - Mid that's in the Volti Vittora Horn Speaker at an Audio Show and REALLY liked it! But unfortunately I haven't actually heard the other BMS Coaxial version of the driver.
-- I am trying to match the sound quality of the Midrange version that's in the Volti Audio Vittora Horn Loudspeaker , but in a slightly different Horn Shape - ( a k402 MEH Horn ) - but for that design I would need the BMS4592ND- Coaxial version of the driver.
