On the other hand some people are happy with their products , being cheap of course so look on it as--- buyer be cautious !

Chinese factories range from good to awful and undercut each other for business, Aiyima seem to be well known headquartered in Long-Gang district ( China ).

How about American companies --manufactured --at "home " -

You can find several free power supply board layouts floating around on DIY Audio. I sell some commercially (see: Power Supplies). Mine boards made in Canada. You buy the parts at Mouser or Digikey (i.e. reputable distributors that sell genuine parts). The result is much more expensive than the Ali-Express boards, but the quality level is also considerably higher.

Anyone have experience with inexpensive power supply boards from AliExpress?

I have attached a photo of a partially populated board without capacitors (related to one of the sellers you referenced) that I bought and I am happy with it.

Note, however, that I bought the boards without capacitors and populated them with capacitors of known origin. For example, if you are in the US you could get capacitors from authorized distributors such as Mouser or Digikey and solder them to the bare board. I have had quite a few problems with fake transistors and I do not want to buy fake and possibly exploding capacitors too. In my experience the fake problem is very severe and is not being dealt with by the online market places.

Similar can be found on US-Ebay or even Amazon where returning if not to spec is easier.
Just ordered a few adjustable LDO boards. Heck, the board and heat sink were worth what I paid.

FWIW, I even got fake 2N2222's from a reputable supplier! They don't always have complete control if where they bought them. Fake 5 cent transistor! I try to only go Mouser, Allied and Digi-Key now as they are big enough to buy from the OEM, not from wholesalers.

I buy from Ebay, the black board version (4 capacitor slots version), with heatsink for diodes, but without capacitors. I buy quality Nichon capacitors from TME. And i don't have any problems, the boards are ok, and at a correct price
