Sony xm-d1000pf

Having an issue with this amp pulling excessive current. I have my power supply set to limit of 15 amps. When I originally got this amp it only went in protect when applying the remote and it never pulled any current. I replaced the in put and output transistors I got the amp to power up out of protect if I remove the two legs of each rectifier if I connect the two legs of each rectifier the amp Powers up it doesn't go into protect but it pulls a tremendous amount of current and my power supply drops from 14.7 to 8.9 at 14 amps. With the rectifiers removed the amp idles only at 1 amp just fine. If I connect the speaker It don't get sounds from the sub nor does the amps change. Any idea where I need to look at? Thanks

If you mean the one shaped like a pentagon the model number end in P5 not PF, but regardless with class D amps you need correct gate drive at the power supply FETs in order to get rail voltage, and you also need proper gate drive in the output stage or it won’t work. Have you looked at the gate wave forms on a scope yet?

No I haven't bout to do that now. Sorry for the late reply had a family issue come up. Also yes it's the p5 my mistake.

Input transistors? Are you referring to the power supply FETs?

What FETs did you use in the output stage?

Is it a P5 as was suggested in #2?

How bad is the heat stress for the output driver transistors/board?

Yes referring to the power supply fets
Fets I used in the output stage are SSP45N20A
power supply fets was replaced with RFP70N60

Is p5 as suggested in #2

Output mosfet got hot around 98f for about 40sec I discount the power to the amp and heard a crack nosie right when I was discounting the power.

Ic6/tl494cn is hot to the touch.the two green in the circle are hot to a point i can not touch longer then 6 secs.
