I was surfing around the net looking at power supplies, soft starts, and speaker protection circuits and I came across this,

Power Supply and Protection Circuit | Connex Electronic

Has anyone used this?

It looks all in one...

Benzi.com is a Chinese manufacturer and I notice Connex is selling more Chinese imports so you might have a problem getting a schematic for it.

Are you building a large case for an amplifier and want to install it into your power amp as it will need more than two wires to connect it and connected to the correct parts of the power amp circuit ?

Its probably got its uses but anyone designing a power amp wont want it in theirs as those safety measures can be built into the design in a more compact and sophisticated fashion.

Do they supply schematics with those units--I don't mean block diagrams ?
And you used them in what as its not a compact design ( compared to a self designed part of the power amp circuit and would need a larger enclosure ?

Requires appropriate rated/designed external transformer... Not included.

Looks very complex and well thought out.

I wish they would list the max rating watt load for 2 ohm, 4 ohm, 8 speaker loads just for reference... Along with some type of THD, THD+N, Harmonics k2 - k35 type of bench mark rating with an amplifier board for reference.

It's marked version 1.... It would be great if Connex reps could chime in here...

Linear full bridge rectifier dc voltage less ripple than SMPS resonant design. Seems like a great choice with overall featureset.
I'm still looking for reviews....

Looks like it might be rated for up to 975W overall.
