Affordable 2" compression driver 800Hz - 8000Hz

-like the others, it has an integrated TITANIUM surround.. so their 1600 Hz recommendation is actually fairly accurate.

Probably as low as 1k with a very steep high-pass filter.

The integrated surround 2" exit Phenolic's should allow for lower freq.s.. BUT they don't go as high in frequency.. maybe 6-7 kHz depending on the driver and size of the diaphragm..

Speaking of that, with a smaller diaphragm this one does quite well (..and you can't beat the price, even with shipping):

Price is 175 Euros

The recommended crossover frequency is 1600Hz , can it be lower for Hi-Fi use?
Dead URL. I have upload the datasheet.
I am looking for such a driver from this manufacturer, but without titan diaphragm and suspension (e. g. glass fiber, cloth or polyimide).
Who know the exact naming of this (may be very old) type ?
Maybe it was under the naming of the Turbosound parts.
Thanks for an advice.
