I previously had a pair of Goodmans Axiom 201s a few years ago:
https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/full-range/250482-goodmans-axiom-201-a.html
And now in a situation to take advantage of some larger speakers again.
Looking at the 301 model, there seem to be two types, the one with the straight basket and an inverted roll surround (same as the 201), and the other has a curved basket frame and acordian style surround.
Does anyone have any experience between the two?
Not huge amount of info on T/S parameters, other than this that I found:

Info on 301. 🙂

And from web:
I've had one of my Goodmans 301 speakers measured by a laboratory here in Australia. They are as follows:
Fs: 31.679 Hz
Re: 5.71 ohms
Qms: 3.411
Qes: 0.231
Qts: 0.217
Sd: 491 square cm
Vas: 310.993 litres
Xmax peak: not measured, guess 5mm
Le: not measured, use zero
Nominal power: 20 watts
.....
The ones with acordian style surround are of earlier version while those later versions with plastic surround are inferrior I gathered..

Wow! Bass horn driver specs similar to Altec 414-8B! Makes for a wide range of cab alignment options based on amp choice, size/shape constraints.

Thanks, thats great! I'll look out for the earlier version then!
Well I appear to have purchased a pair of 301s...
Now to find a tweeter to go with them. When I had the 201s I used a Fountek Ribbon which worked OK.
Thinking of a basic compression/tweeter such as the B&C DE35 to fill in above ~10kHz.

Hmm, for 10-20 kHz, theoretically need a ~0.3" dia. driver = a piezo element or array if need more power handling [doubtful].

I've been searching for a decent pair of 301s for almost a year now, I did find a mint pair but they were damaged in transit and unusable.
I recently picked up a pair of Axiom 10 drivers which sat below the 201/301/401 models being designed for the domestic market. There was also a TwinAxiom 10 which I gather is the same but with a small whizzer cone.
There were also the Axiom 110 and 112 models, the 110 seems to be the same as the Axiom 10 where as the 112 has a larger magnet.
A search does not bring much up for these compared to the more common 201 & 301.
From the measured specs, I am thinking of another aperiodic enclosure, around the 5000cu inch/80 Litre size due to the high Qts.
I have a pair of Sica HFU 6x8 tweeters to cross over to in the 7-8 kHz range

A quick comparison against my Tannoy Stirling TWs with the Axiom 10s in a quick and dirty open baffle. The Axioms seem around 6dB or so more sensitive in the midrange & treble
