FS - Troels Gravesen Fusion passive loudspeakers - UK

NOW SOLD

I have for sale a pair of Fusion passive loudspeakers (level 1 kit) that I made 18 months ago. Price £1500. They are finished with Birds Eye Maple veneer and satin black paint on the front baffle. Here is a link to the TG website for these speakers:

Fusion

Lovely sound with deep bass with a lovely tone. I've attached frequency response graphs that I measured with REW and a calibrated mic, they are unfiltered. I offer them so you can see that they respond as expected; the low frequencies are probably affected by the room to some degree but the overall response is good. I guess all diy'ers know that the sound quality will be comparable to commercial speakers costing much, much, more. At the Ascot hifi show last November I listened to £20k speakers that I didn't think were as good, but that's just my opinion!

Collection only.

Auditions are fine with me if you are near Sandy, Beds.

Hi Gordon,

Lovely speakers. I think I may have seen your pictures on Troels' site. Are you the man who built something like seven pairs of TG's kits?

Troels suggested the Fusion or The Loudspeaker TL1/TL2 to me when I asked him for recommended kits. It's a pity that you're so far away because i suspect it would be prohibitively expensive to ship them from England to Texas.

Hi Kalil, yes, I have built a number of Troels kits. Enjoyed all of them, absolutely great value for the price. If you decide to build a pair go for the Loudspeaker 2, it is way, way better than the Fusion (which is good in it's own right).
Ithink shipping the Fusions would be a physical and financial challenge!
Regards
Gordon

Thanks Gordon. I may someday build the Loudspeaker 2, but I'm not sure where to put it! I think I'd feel a little foolish moving the couch to make room for speakers.

Best of luck with the sale. I'd buy them if I were even a long drive away.
