JVC Wooden Single-Drivers for Sale?

They were used in JVC speakers packaged with their executive stereo systems. Are the drivers available separately?

What era was this, like the 90's? It's unlikely the drivers were ever sold separately, but I've seen wooden drivers, 4-5" I think. Can't remember the name.

I believe JVC brought it out around 2007.

Hey no prob. I'm thinking there may be small wood cone drivers available from China, that aren't being imported into NA. But you'd have to spend some time trolling the web.🙂

I’ve tried metal & paper cones. Wood seems exotic & might be preferable with some music.

There is a 50MM Parc driver, but it too is unavailable through Amazon Canada. I can’t get a break!

Based on a sample of 1 build, I can attest that the Airbornes are a pretty decent performer, something which cousin Cal can address as well.

Yes, can’t remember exactly which model - it was probably 5(?) years or more ago.
