WTB Pearl 2 phono stage for MM

Looking to buy recent or new build for MM carts like AT VM540ML or Nagaoka MP-150. Power supplies included. Thanks!

You can reduce the gain of the second stage making it eminently suitable for MM,

or since you know the cart specs, you can put the T5 compensation right at the input of the NJFETs and modify the other compensation components, setting T5 at a very high frequency.

or, if you look at the schematic, you can easily put an active Lipshitz compensation into the feedback network! For MM you only need 36 to 40dB gain.

Thank you both. I think I like the idea of a Pearl 2 with active Lipshitz which if removed, leaves open the MC choice down the road. I'll see if I get any takers to build, and live with my old Rega Phono Mini A2D in the mean time.

I simulated an active Lipshitz filter -- around the R15/R16 locations -- you can get a nice fit in the 10Hz-20kHz realm, but the device seems to oscillate ~3.4MHz. Just a simulation, haven't built it. (My Pearl boards are the source of endless experimentation!) FWIW the DIY versions of Aleph Ono seems stable in sim, but neither have I built one of these.
