i am working on an kove armageddon 6K amp.
there is a jumper on the power supply board.does anybody know what is it for?
with jumper in right position (like on the pic) amp powers up normaly.
with jumper in left position amp powers up with high current draw and some fets become hot quickly

On some amps, it's used for high-voltage protection. I've seen diagrams where it was wired differently. I can't find that diagram right now.
This jumper is also present in the emphaser 13000spl, ground zero 10k and ampire 3k which i've for a repair right now and i've seen it in many other korean design amplifiers.
Ground Zero 1.4000dxii which basically is the same amp as Emphaser 13000spl DOES not have it.
