Hi there, I got this Motorola SC-320 AM radio turntable combo from Argentina.
Radio works for a while, then it shuts. Turntable moves and stucks.
I want to try to fix it but I don't even know what I see.
Any help?
Has anyone seen a similar Motorola combo? I need some basic instructions on how this things work so I can check it out a piece at the time.
Where's the amp line in? How could I feed it another sound singnal to test the amplifiying system?
Thanks in advance.

Have you fixed electronics before? I see several examples on Mercadolibre for sale...it seems to be a stereo unit.
These devices are rather simple in design & layout...first off, it most likely hums at 50 hertz...a low buzzing sound. Those capacitors in your picture are likely dried out & would need replacing for the power supply to work right.
Yes, likely you could tap into the amp to play music from other sources, EG, CD...from a low-level source.
We need to dig up a schematic to get you started.

There are some for sale on Mercadolibre but no info about the circuit. It seems to be simple but difficult enough for me. I can't find any schematics online. Anyways I think I could take off with some advice from this forum.
It´s a locally made product so you will not find data outside Argentina.
Are those ECL82?
Get the recommended datasheet schematic, BGH won´t go too far from that.
I have seen (and had) old 70´s Service Manuals covering those and other brands, such as Winco, Ken Brown, etc. but hey have disappeared long ago.
Try some Argentine Forum such as yo reparo . com . ar and similar.
EDIT:
here is the SC300 schematic, which must be very close (if not identical)

We don't really need a schematic. Why would it work a while then "shut"? Why would it move and "stuck"?
I have a feeling that "shut" and "stuck" are not the best words, more information might help. Language differences?

Maybe it´s something "mechanical", such as poor/dirty/corroded radio/Phono switch and crystallized/missing grease on rotating parts , gears full of dust and lint, etc.
It´s > 50 y.o. and God knows what humid basement or leaking roof attic it was stored in.
Half the work will be cleaning it.
