Adam Sub7 subwoofer PCU repair

Does anyone have any experience repairing Adam active studio monitors, specifically the Adam sub7 subwoofer? Are there any common weak points on these amps / boards / PCU's

It suddenly won't power on, the main fuse is good. The green LED's on the front panel no longer turn on.

I'm a novice with repairing & troubleshooting but can probe around with a multimeter and am handy with a soldering iron.

Visually I can't see any obvious component damage.

Check for shorts on the TDA chip under the board. Supply to output, Supply to GND, output to GND, etc... Most common failure for these. I'm tackling one right now. Also check the secondary SMPS rectifier diodes.
See if you find any shorts, then remove the chip, see if the short is gone. Then check secondary diodes. If it's all good then try powering it on without the chip and see if it comes to life. Supply voltage with no load should be about +-22V DC.

Hey,

@Cloudlifter, how did it go for you?

I also have an Adam Sub7 that doesn't work but unlike you I have "all" the voltages from start and when used or when warmed up it shuts down, all voltages gone.

Probably the TDA amplifier chip that's faulty or could it be something else?
Should I try some freeze spray to see if there are some other components messing things up?
My TDA chip is TDA8950TH which is not manufactured anymore (?) but still available for purchase at some sites, mostly Asian.
