K-12G Amp

So I built this little amp a few years ago as my first tube project. Decided to pull it out and do some comparisons, WOW, can it really be that good? I'm driving an Akitika PR-102 pre-amp through MarkAudio 10P Pensils, think I'll buy up some 10g8V tubes for the future?

I built a K12M maybe 15 years ago. I used a number of mods on the internet. Put the board in an aluminum chassis and built a separate power supply chassis with regulated heater supply. The mods included ultralinear output trannys and capacitor changes. All of the info is on the net. Take a look at the DIY Audio Projects site. Scroll down to the bottom of the Tube Amp Projects. This project was a K12M but many of the mods should apply. Regards, HeyBill
