Changed preamp trebble went crazy

I changed my preamp to a Nad c510 integrated dac model and although the sound quality has really improved the trebble has got really loud -any way to tone this down?-its on a set of electrostatic speakers and the preamp has no tone controls btw

This amp may be unhappy with the speakers because of the difficult load.
Try different speakers and see if it sounds any better.

Decrease the volume?
