Hi guys any help will be appreciated. Still new to amplifier repair, current working on an amplifier using N ir2113 to drive output fets.
Amplifier came in with a blown output side and a damaged ir2113 chip.
For some reason im getting 2.5v on gates even with a new ir2113 placed

Not sure if previous message went through, I'm new to this page,
Was measuring 2.5v dc
Previously had to replace a voltage regulator that was feeding 12v to the ic
Anyway tried fitting new fets afterwards on a 3A power supply
Blew them within a few seconds, while i was checking for heat, still stayed cold.
Anyway here i am with fitting another ir2113 and same problem persists,

Do you have a scope?
Please (and this applies to anyone who needs repair help) use your sig line to list all equipment you have, editing it as equipment changes. Include the model numbers.
Oscilloscope (yes or no)
Multimeter(s)
Type of signal source (grounded RCA shields preferred).
Soldering iron
Desoldering pump
Power supply
2 ohm current limiting resistor (hollow cylindrical ceramic 100w preferred)

Those need to be in your sig line so anyone helping you know how to direct the repair.
A 3 amp supply is insufficient for many amps.
Were your probes placed, black on the FET source pad and the red probe on the FET gate pad?
FETs out of the circuit?

It's normal for a multimeter to read a pulsed drive signal as DC voltage.
Do you have any LEDs and resistors on hand?

Connect a 1k resistor in series with the LED. Use a red or green LED.
To see if it's working, connect it across the gate and source of the PS FETs. Then reconnect but with the reverse connection. It should only light in one direction.
Do the same across the gate and source of the audio FETs?
What does your meter read across the gate and source of the PS FETs?

I have a 5.3v drive on the power supply side
Would a list of voltages per pin on the ir2113 socket help?
